As DPA commits itself to creating a "barrier-free Singapore" taking into account not only physical access but also ensuring equal access to cyberspace, DPA has developed this handbook which aims to help in the development of websites and other electronic content that is universally accessible. It hopes that this initiative will, in turn, catalyse the process of bridging the digital divide for people with disabilities. This tool gives an overview of the concept of UWA and its benefits to companies and people with disabilities.
More, DPA is the only association that promotes Universal Web Accessibility (UWA) in Singapore. It also provides Web Accessibility Auditing and Certification for Accessible Websites.
